1957 BSA Low Gravity Delivery Bicycle

I bought this BSA delivery bicycle on ebay last year. I shouldn’t have bothered: when I eventually got it home, I discovered it was far worse than described. Nevertheless, it has now been sent off to my poor friend Tony, who has agreed to free off all the seized parts and replace the wheels with my spares carrier bike. I’ll update this page when he’s done it.

I’ve not yet found a brochure for this year of carrier (the age is determined by the badge on the front, introduced in 1957). But here’s the 1939 catalogue showing a similar model.
