1926 BSA Gent’s No. 15 Standard Roadster

1926 BSA Gent’s No. 15 Standard Roadster

24″ Frame

Eadie Coaster Hub Brake

This is one of the treasures I brought home with me from Beaulieu autojumble this year.

It has now been cleaned up, serviced and tyres replaced.

It’s totally original and well preserved.

I’ve checked the BSA catalogue for 1926 and 1928 and this model is identical in both years. So it’s not possible to be conclusive about its age.

1926 BSA CATALOGUE

After studying this brochure, I see that the most obvious difference between this Standard Roadster and the Empire Roadster, below, is that the more expensive Standard model has a head lock.

I rubbed the paint down on the steering head to finds the Piled Arms logo.
